Hillary Clinton has served as US Secretary of State, Senator from New York, first lady of the United States, first lady of Arkansas, a practicing lawyer and law professor, activist, and volunteer.
Hillary founded Onward Together, an organization that works to advance progressive values by encouraging people to organize, get involved, and run for office.
She’s also held a lot of first titles:
- First woman partner at the oldest law firm in Arkansas
- First woman to chair the national board of the Legal Services Corporation
- The first person who declared on the world stage that “human rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights.”
- First first lady ever be elected to public office
- First woman Senator from New York
- First female nominee of major U.S. political party
Hers was also the first campaign in history of which the majority of donors were women! 🤩
